Saikrishna Patibandla, MD
A New York native, Dr. Patibandla grew up in Brooklyn and Westchester. He went on to get his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester in 2011, his M.S. at New York Medical College in 2013, and his M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Patibandla completed his residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center and left the state for an advanced cardiovascular imaging fellowship at the West Virginia University Heart and Vascular Institute. After successfully finishing the course, Dr. Patibandla returned to New York for a cardiovascular disease fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital and Brooklyn Hospital Center. He graduated from the fellowship in 2024 as the chief fellow for the program.
Dr. Patibandla is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac MRI. He is certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). He has publications in various areas of cardiovascular disease, and has presented his research at national meetings.
Dr. Patibandla currently practices as a member of Suffolk Heart Group with privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital of West Islip, and St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center of Smithtown, New York. He is currently seeing patients in both our Smithtown and Bay Shore offices.
